Rhodes Scholars

Since 1903, Rhodes Scholarships send postgraduate students to study at the University of Oxford, England. The University of Mississippi has had 27 Rhodes Scholars, placing us in 8th place in the nation among public universities, and 26th among all private and public universities – tied with University of Montana and Vanderbilt.

The last College graduate to receive a Rhodes Scholarship was Shadrick “Shad” Tucker White (BA Economics and Political Science ’08)
