Patricia Oswalt serves as Accountant I for the College of Liberal Arts focusing on financial matters for the dean’s office as well as the departments that fall under the College umbrella. She processes and/or approves all eForms pertaining to faculty and staff employment and funding for the dean’s office and College as well as being the originator of all ConnectU personnel requisitions for the College departments. She monitors department budgets and assists department chairs and staff with their budgets and accounts. She advises and assists in training department staff about policies and procedures regarding the processing of forms for payment both to outside agencies and to faculty, staff, and students via the eForm system. She also assists the associate deans of the College with many matters that require funding including facilities improvements, summer research, scholarships, and more. Patricia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Delta State University. She has been working with the University of Mississippi since 2005, and has been working in the College of Liberal Arts since 2008.
