AmeriCorps VISTA Program Site Proposal

As a VISTA Program Site, we will deploy 23 AmeriCorps VISTAs to develop projects that promote education in North Mississippi by establishing mutually beneficial partnerships with local education agencies and community learning organizations. We will develop projects within a 23-county area that represents roughly the northern 1/3 of the state. Wherever possible, we will develop projects in communities with underperforming schools and/or schools eligible for Title I School Improvement Grants.
