Dedicated Resources and Training

What do you need to get your research or creative project started, kept going, and seen through to completion? CLA supports several initiatives to get you from point A to Z. Learn about the wide range of resources for our faculty, staff, and students that supports your work and scholarship.

INSPiRED

The INSPiRED Program focuses on training and equipping faculty with the skills and resources needed to effectively work in large, multi-disciplinary research teams/centers. The program will train faculty in building, coordinating, and directing large interdisciplinary research efforts.

Faculty Grants

The CLA provides research and creative seed support up to $10,000 to competitive proposals from junior and senior faculty. These funds can be spent on summer salary, university approved travel, and/or the purchase of supplies and equipment.

CLA Humanities Hub

An interdisciplinary research initiative focused in the humanities.

    Ventress Fellows

    To support the expansion of doctoral education within CLA, the College has set aside funds for new doctoral stipends. Stipends will be provided for up to five years for approved new doctoral students.

    Stamps Impact Prize

    The Stamps Impact Prize is a competitive award to enhance undergraduate academic experiences by supporting student-initiated projects.
