Humanities Hub Goals

  • Help navigate curricular silos
  • Provide a space (intellectual and, hopefully, physical) to innovate
  • Raise visibility and public understanding of the humanities
  • Provide a venue for sharing and producing research
  • Build and support community among our scholars and scholars doing similar work
  • Provide coordination for existing interdisciplinary programs/efforts
  • Give a place to celebrate existing work
  • Establish prestige
  • Provide time/funding/support for scholars to pivot or develop new schools as they transition in their careers
