CLA Academic Advising
Academic advising happens differently across the College of Liberal Arts. Allow us to explain.
Academic Advising
All students in the College of Liberal Arts are assigned an academic advisor. Some students, such as those pursuing a health or legal profession after graduation as well as those in special programs, are assigned an additional advisor. Staff across our campus are in continuous training and regular communication with each other to provide the highest quality and care to our students. We want you to be successful and we have the resources and support to help you achieve your goals!
There is a reason UM has extremely high retention and graduation rates. We are committed to student success!
