Weather permitting the physics and astronomy department will offer an open house in Kennon Observatory this Friday, February 15 from 6:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. They will be viewing the moon, Jupiter, the Orion nebula, and the Pleiades. They will also be looking for star clusters and double stars. Families and children are welcome. The event is free. The weather forecast is for clouds for the morning with more of a chance of sunny conditions as the day moves toward evening. Partly cloudy for the evening with a low of 29 degrees.
