We are offering a public viewing of the sky in Kennon Observatory at the University of Mississippi this Friday (July 8), starting 9:00 pm.
The Moon looks great in a telescope. Saturn sets early, and is only visible for a short time after sunset.
We will also be observing the star clusters, and colorful double stars, as well as the Ring Nebula.
Observations are possible only if the weather cooperates. In case the weather is cloudy, or rainy, there can be no observation.
Families and children are welcome, the event is free!
