Turry Flucker talks to photographer Jamie Johson. Johnson grew up in Poplaville and attended the Mississippi School for Math and Science. She is a graduate of the University of Mississippi and Louisiana Tech University. After earning her MFA from Louisiana Tech, she attended the Maine Media Workshop in Rockford, Maine. A working artist and professor in Mississippi, Johnson has shown her work extensively across the United States in venues such as the SOHO Photo Gallery in New York, The Center for Fine Art Photography and the Ogden Museum of Southern Art in New Orleans.
