History Professor’s Book Reviewed by New York Times

A University of Mississippi professor’s interest in an early American advocate for women’s rights earned her a place in a book of essays reviewed by the New York Times.

The book, “Revolutionary Founders: Rebels, Radicals and Reformers in the Making of the Nation,” features 22 essays, including “America’s Mary Wollstonecraft: Judith Sargent Murray’s Case for the Equal Rights of Women,” penned by UM history professor Sheila Skemp.
