The Sarah Isom Center for Women and Gender Studies requests papers for the 13th Annual Isom Student Gender Conference: Mind/Body/Spirit. The conference will begin Tuesday, March 19 and conclude the following day. All students are welcome to submit panel proposals as well as proposals for individual papers. Please submit an abstract of 250-300 words by Friday, February 15 via the Isom Center website http://sarahisomcenter.org/. From the website, go to tab marked “Annual Events,” then click on “Isom Student Gender Conference.”
The conference will feature a keynot address by performance artist Kari Tauring “Mind, Body, Spirit: Returning to the Un-gendered Whole in Norse Tradition.” At noon on Thursday, February 7, the conference committee will host a workshop on presenting papers.
