MINORS
Except for African American Studies, International Studies, Liberal Studies, and Southern Studies, all other B.A. degrees require a minor field of study. A minor may be taken in any department or program in the College of Liberal Arts. Minors may also be chosen in certain disciplines from the professional schools: Accountancy, Business Administration, Education, Engineering, Intelligence & Security Studies, Journalism, and Parks & Recreation Management. In addition, there are interdisciplinary programs that offer a minor only: Cinema, Environmental Studies, Gender Studies, Medieval Studies, Neuroscience, and Renaissance and Early Modern Studies.
The College also offers students the opportunity to prepare to seek degrees in Clinical Laboratory Science, Cytotechnology, Dental Hygiene, Health Informatics & Information Management, Medical Technology, Nursing, Occupational Therapy and Radiologic Sciences.
