FEBRUARY 21, 2020

This spring, University of Mississippi liberal arts majors will have free access to resume workshops, mock interview sessions and the advice of College of Liberal Arts alumni – all culminating in the first-ever CLA Career Fair and Expo on April 16.

These prep events are designed to help students, from freshmen through seniors, showcase their strengths and hunt for internships and postgraduate jobs independently and at the Career Fair this spring. The fair will feature private- and public-sector companies and organizations from across the region.

“Employers are looking for new hires who can solve complex problems, think critically and communicate clearly in both speaking and writing,” said Lee M. Cohen, dean of the College of Liberal Arts. “These are exactly the abilities that College of Liberal Arts students have. They just need to present those skills in a way that will resonate with employers – and we’re helping them do that.”

Registration for some events is required. Register by logging in or creating an account on Handshake via the Career Office website.

These events are open to students of any major within the College of Liberal Arts:
