Charles Reagan Wilson, Kelly Gene Cook, Sr. Chair and Professor of History and Southern Studies, has been a member of The University of Mississippi faculty for 33 years. He will deliver this year’s Mortar Board Last Lecture, which will represent the last lecture of the academic year.
The lecture is on Friday, May 2; 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the Gertrude C. Ford Center for the Performing Arts.
This event is intended to be an annual event that brings together our community of faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community members to close out the traditional academic year. Coincidentally, Dr. Wilson is retiring this year, an event that brings additional significance to this lecture.
A reception to commemorate this event, hosted by the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College, will immediately follow the lecture in the Ford Center lobby.
