The internationally famous poet Michael Warr will read his poetry as part of Black History Month, Feb. 7. An open reception begins the event at 6:00 p.m. followed by 6:30 p.m. reading at Bryant Hall.
Michael won a NEA Creative Writing Fellowship for Poetry among others and has received many awards and accolades. His poems are included in many anthologies and the recording A Snake in the Heart: Poems and Music by Chicago Spoken Word Performers.
