Leah Thomson

Mrs. Leah Thomson is a real estate investor at TDL Investments, LLC, serves on the board of directors of a tutoring and mentoring program for youth in the Atlanta area and in her spare time is a passionate volunteer at a local humane society near Peachtree City, GA, where she and her husband reside.

Leah Thomson comes from a family where service was a priority. The daughter of Mitzie Lindsey and Dr. Kenneth Lindsey of Fulton, Mississippi, her mother was an inspiring special education teacher for 36 years. Leah earned her BA in English from the University of Mississippi in 1984 and went on to obtain a paralegal degree from the National Center for Paralegal Training in Atlanta. Mrs. Thomson is currently a real estate investor at TDL Investments, LLC in the Atlanta area.

Mrs. Thomson is also involved as the fundraising and event chairperson for the Fayette Humane Society  in Peachtree City, Georgia. As a board member, she plans and implements activities, public relations, and marketing for the FHS. Her love of animals is the impetus for the work she does, and she enjoys every minute of it.  She also encourages volunteers to help with the annual Special Olympics event each year.  She has been through the Mentor/Leadership Training for the Fayette County school system, and has been involved in various youth organizations. Leah is also on the board of the Association of Village PRIDE, Inc. (AVPRIDE), a Youth Leadership Development organization that offers tutoring, mentoring and youth development programs that work with elementary, middle, and high school students and their families.

Leah passed the importance of service on to her three children. Her daughters have volunteered for the Peace Corps and mission work in Africa. She has resided in Peachtree City with her husband, Tobin, for 15 years, and they enjoy being empty nesters with their three dogs.
