8th Annual Japan Foundation Film Series at Oxford Malco Spotlights Films from 2000s

The theme for the 8th Annual Japan Foundation Film series is “Japanese Films from the 2000s.” The four films are “A Stranger of Mine,” “Dog in a Sidecar,” “The Matsugane Potshot Affair,” and “Hanging Garden.” All films are shown on Thursdays with starting time at 7:00pm at the Oxford Malco Cinema.  The series began on September 20 with “A Stranger of Mine,” and will end with “Hanging Garden” on Thursday, November 1.  The film series is free to the public.  The movie nights are sponsored by Japan Foundation, UM Department of History, and the Department of Modern Languages.
